Workspace ONE requires a series of installation steps to fully deploy the solution to your computer. Read the documentation below to guide you through the installation.

Prerequisites

1. Scope – NYU-owned Computer (Laptop/Desktop)
2. Supported OS – macOS version 10.14 or later
   If you have a computer running unsupported/older versions of MacOS, contact your IT support team for assistance.
3. You must be an administrator on your computer to complete the below steps. If you are not, please contact your IT support team for assistance.
4. Network connection (you do not have to be connected to the VPN or NYU-NET)

Enrollment Steps

1. Go to www.getwsone.com and download Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub.
2. Open the install file (from the Downloads Folder) and install the Intelligent Hub by following the system prompts.
3. Click Close to exit the setup.
4. After installation is complete, the Intelligent Hub enrollment screen appears shortly later, or click on the Intelligent Hub icon in the macOS Menu Bar and click Enroll.
5. You will be asked for an email or server address. Enter ONLY the server address: https://ds1688.awmdm.com/  Click Next.
6. Then, you will be asked for your GroupID (see chart below).

7. NYU MFA log in Pop up: Enter your NYU NetID and Password and Click Next
8. WorkSpace ONE Services Pop-Up. Click Next
9. Enabling Device Management Pop-up
10. Profile pop-up. "Are you sure you want to install WorkSpace Services"? Click Install
11. Profile pop-up. "Are you sure you want to install Device Manager"? Click Install
    NOTE on data erasure: The message "Erase all data on this computer" is only a permission. Nothing will be erased. The ability to erase all data is a requirement for security in case a computer is lost or stolen.
12. Enter your computer Username and Password. 
13. A Congratulations screen appears when enrollment is successful. Click Done
14. Your Privacy Matters Pop up. Click I Understand

15. Want an even better app experience. Click I Agree or Not Now
16. You should see a Welcome to New York University page
17. NYU Hello Pop up. Click Get Started
18. When you complete the enrollment process, the Apps page appears
19. Your NYU Mac is now enrolled in WorkSpace ONE
